Where:
Josh & Courtney have reserved a group room block for you at Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica, a beautiful, family-friendly all-Inclusive resort. We have rooms reserved from May 11th through checkout on May 20th. You are welcome to stay longer, based on availability, or extend your stay elsewhere in Costa Rica. Resort payment schedule: Upon Booking: Deposit due to confirm your room, $250 per person, plus full cost of travel insurance (if applicable). December 19, 2023: 50% of balance due February 22, 2024: Full balance due Resort Cancellation Penalties: * Deposit of $250 per person is non-refundable * Cancellations after February 22, 2024 = 1 night penalty in addition to the non-refundable deposit. * Cancellations, shortening the length of stay, or reductions to number of occupants in the room after March 1, 2024 are non-refundable. Travel Insurance highly recommended. |
Accommodations - Book Your Room
The 447 rooms and suites are contemporary and pleasant, outfitted with beige tile floors and decor in warm earth tones.
All rooms have terraces furnished with whirlpools and dining sets, plus either garden, pool, or ocean views.
Bathrooms have walk-in rainfall showers, dual vanity sinks, and upmarket toiletries. Also standard are air-conditioning, minibars that are restocked daily, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and MP3 docking stations.
Preferred Club category rooms have extra perks like upgraded minibars and bathroom toiletries, separate check-in, free faster Wi-Fi, and pillow menus. Suites are only available in the Preferred Club category and have elevated decor elements for a more sophisticated look, and add living room spaces. Upgrades with swim-out pools and ocean views are available.

One Way Shared Group Airport Transfer to/from Liberia Guanacaste Airport to Dreams Las Mareas. = $177 for one person, $89 per person for multi-guest. Transfers will be added to each reservation.

- You should fly into Liberia International Airport (LIR). Flights are not included.
- The resort is about 90 minutes from Liberia Airport and more than 4 hours from San Jose Airport.
- Please do not book your flights until your room is secured, and you receive a confirmation from Explore Your World Vacations.
- Flights should be booked using your name exactly as it appears on your passport.
- Once your flights are booked, please send that information to Explore Your World Vacations so that Airport Transfers can be arranged.

- One child/infant seat and booster available for $15 each one, each way. (Traveling with your personal car seat is advised due to limited rental availability.)

Do We need passports?
Please keep in mind that everyone, including children and infants, must have a valid passport to travel to Costa Rica.
A passport card is not valid for international air travel. A passport book is mandatory.
It is recommended to renew passports with less than 6 months of validity from your return date. While Costa Rica is not strict on the 6 month requirement, it is the ticket agent at the airport that will ultimately decide if you will be allowed to board the flight. Airline employees are often trained to follow the 6 month requirement regardless of country requirements. Are you willing to risk it? Our advice, play it safe.

Are airport transfers included?
Yes, round-trip airport transfers will be added to your package. We must have your flight information within 3 weeks of your departure date. If we do not receive your flight details within 3 weeks of your trip, this will result in your cancellation of your ground transportation. You will not be refunded any costs for transportation. It will be up to you to find transportation to and from the resort if you do not provide the flight details needed for us to arrange transportation.
Make sure you reconfirm your return transfer with the transportation company 48 hours prior to departure. If you are not waiting in the lobby at your assigned pick-up time you will be considered a no-show and will need to have the resort call a taxi at your own expense. Don't miss your transfer!

Please consider tipping your transfer driver $20 to $30 per couple for the 90 minute drive from the airport. They do not work for the all-inclusive resorts and reply on gratuities. It is customary to tip the spa staff 10% - 18% of the cost of your service.
It is appropriate and much appreciated to tip the resort bellman, housekeepers, restaurant waitstaff, pool servers, and bartenders. While a few dollars may not mean much to you, it greatly improves the quality of life for the individuals who work at the resorts, often 6 or 7 days a week.
Bring plenty of small bills or have the front desk make change for you. Dollars are welcomed but colones are easier for the staff to use since many do not have bank accounts required to exchange currency. ATM's in the lobby often dispense pesos should you need more cash.

The occupancy of each room should remain the same through the entirety of the reservation. We can potentially book multiple reservations, if needed.

The bride and groom have paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group. They kindly ask that you book your hotel within our designated group contract through Explore Your World Vacations. Bookings made through Explore Your World Vacations receive the service and support of their chosen destination wedding specialist in addition to the group benefits.
Can I make payments?
Yes! We can sent up a monthly payment schedule. All payments need to be made before the final payment deadline.
