Hi, I'm Kristi, the founder of Explore Your World Vacations and Destination Weddings Designer.
My love for travel began as a child when my mom began a career with a major international airline. I was hooked immediately and knew from a young age that I would have a career in the travel industry. Every day I make that vision a reality! I started my career in travel fresh out of college, planning events and activities for resorts in a major tourist destination (you may know it as the "happiest place on earth"). But after years of working in various segments of the industry, I realized my true calling was creating dreamy destination weddings and honeymoons. With the support of my family and encouragement of some key mentors, I took a leap of faith in 2012 and invested in opening my own travel agency! I began specializing in destination weddings and honeymoons after I became a destination bride myself, sixteen years ago. From that came the creation of my wedding events division, Destination Weddings Designer. It is a privilege to be a part of such a special time in a couple's lives. When I'm not helping couples create unforgettable experiences, you'll probably find me hiking with my loyal Bernese Mountain Dog, teaching my two young sons about the wonders of the world, or trying out new restaurants and bars with my hubby. My clients appreciate that I put my heart behind planning memorable travel experiences. I believe that life is all about making lasting memories, and what better way to do it than by exploring new destinations and cultures with the people that you love the most? |
